Kathmandu : The security personnel of the Pashupati Area Development Fund office were discovered dead in the recently constructed building.
Today, while carrying out cleaning activities in the office premises, a staff member discovered the lifeless body of the office security guard, Dhan Bahadur Rana. The incident was immediately reported to the Goshala Police Office by the employee, as confirmed by spokesperson Revatiramana Adhikari.
The Fund has informed that Rana had recently been assigned as one of the security personnel deployed at the compound’s entrance. Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the scene and found Rana’s body in the state of collapse near the garden fence. Sub-Inspector Sanjivababu Khadka, who was present for forensic examination, revealed that the body had been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for further investigation.
The incident is currently under additional investigation. As Rana was discovered in the building constructed for the members of the Executive Committee, it has raised concerns among the authorities.
