kathmandu : In a practice match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Challenge League A held at Harare Sports Club, Oman set a target of 268 runs for Nepal. Having won the toss and elected to bat first, Oman lost all wickets scoring 267 runs in 49 overs and 2 balls.
For Oman, captain Zeeshan Maqsood contributed the highest with 109 runs, while Aqib Ilyas added 38 runs off 68 balls. Additionally, Ayan Khan scored 56 runs off 46 balls, Sandeep Goud made 15 runs off 31 balls, and Naseem Khushi contributed 17 runs off 9 balls. On the bowling side, Nepal’s Sompal Kami took five wickets alone. Sandeep Lamichhane took three wickets, while Karan KC and Pradeep Airee took one wicket each. Nepal is currently batting in response.
