Kathmandu: The ‘Digital Nepal Conference 2023’ is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu with the objective of facilitating policy discussions for digital transformation.
The organizer, the IT Foundation Nepal, has announced that the conference will take place on July 8 and 9. Rajan Lamsal, the Chairman of the Foundation, stated that the conference, titled ‘Fostering Digitally Empowered Nepal,’ aims to enhance Nepal’s capacity for digital transformation and align it with necessary policies and implementation.
The ‘Digital Nepal Conference’ is a large-scale event initiated by the Foundation to support the Digital Nepal campaign. Representatives from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, South Korea, Singapore, the United States, and other countries will be present to showcase their expertise.
Today, Huawei and IT Foundation Nepal have signed an agreement for organizing the conference. The CEO of Huawei Nepal, Jay Chen, and the Chairman of the Foundation, Rajan Lamsal, have signed the agreement.
The conference, dedicated to the efforts of digital transformation, will bring together stakeholders, policy-makers, and leaders of the digital industry in one place. As a pre-event of the conference, the Foundation had previously organized the Digital Province Dialogue program in all seven provinces.
This year, the Foundation has also announced the publication of a research book that consolidates the digital status of all seven provinces.
