Kathmandu : The ICC Men’s World Cup Qualifiers tournament will begin today with the first match being played between Nepal and Zimbabwe. Nepal will be playing against the visiting team in their home ground.
According to Nepali time, the match will start at 1 PM at the Harare Sports Club. So far, Nepal and Zimbabwe have only played a single One-Day International (ODI) match. In the ICC World Cup Qualifiers held in 2018 in Zimbabwe, Nepal competed against Zimbabwe, where Nepal suffered a defeat by 166 runs.
Nepal aims to start the current match with a victory to make a positive beginning. Similarly, Zimbabwe, being the host country for the World Cup Qualifiers, also has the goal of a successful start on their home ground.
