Pokhara: World Music Day was celebrated in the year 2080 (Nepali calendar). As the main event organized by Saptarangi Cultural Organization, 18 institutions in Pokhara came together to celebrate World Music Day. During a press conference held on Monday, the president of the organization, Navaraj Baral, shared information that continuous music programs have been conducted for the past five years to give consistency to World Music Day. The upcoming music program, which is scheduled to be held in collaboration with the Pokhara Industry and Commerce Association, aims to increase musical activities in Pokhara and instill confidence in the organizing institution. The program was an opportunity for national and international artists to showcase their performances.
It was mentioned that the music program would have various presentations, and the audience would have free entry.
The program, organized in collaboration with Gandaki Prajna Foundation and Pokhara Prajna Foundation, will be held jointly next year, as stated.
