Kabul: Afghanistan, at least three people have died in two separate consecutive vehicle accidents, while two others have been injured.
According to the Khaama Press news agency, the first incident occurred in the Chaab district of the province, where a vehicle overturned, resulting in the death of two individuals and injuries to two others.
The second incident involved a collision with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction, resulting in one fatality. Prior to this, the Khaama Press had reported the deaths of three individuals in a similar road accident in the Kofab district of northeastern Badakhshan province.
According to Khaama Press, in various regions of the country such as Sar-e-Pul, Bamyan, and Jable, among others, numerous road accidents have occurred in the past few hours, resulting in the deaths of at least 33 people and leaving 45 individuals seriously injured. Officials attribute the increase in road accidents to factors such as poorly maintained roads, lack of proper repair infrastructure, and failure to adhere to traffic regulations by irresponsible drivers.
