Kathmandu : In the ICC World Cup Qualifiers, Nepal is playing their second match of the group stage today. Following their defeat against Zimbabwe in the first match, Nepal is in search of their first victory. The match against the United States will begin at 12:45 PM local time at Takashinga Sports Club on Tuesday. Like Nepal, the United States is also looking for their first win as they were defeated by the West Indies in their opening match by 39 runs.
Nepal and the United States have faced each other in six previous One-Day competitions, with Nepal winning three, losing two, and one ending in a tie.
After the loss to Zimbabwe in the first match, Nepal is under pressure to secure a victory against the United States to progress to the next stage.
Nepal is placed in Group A. Their third match will be against the West Indies on July 7th, and the final match will be against the Netherlands on July 9th.
In Group B, ten teams, including Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman, and the UAE, are competing.
The top two teams will qualify for the finals, which will be held in India in October-November in the ICC World Cup.
