Pokhara : At Pokhara International Airport today, the first successful international flight operation took place. Since January 1, Pokhara International Airport has been operational, and today, China’s Sichuan Airlines successfully landed their Airbus A319 aircraft at 9:06 am. The chartered flight, carrying a Nepali delegation including the Chairman of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and around 130 Chinese players, arrived in Pokhara. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal informed about the arrival of the chartered flight.
Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Sudhan Kiran Rai, welcomed the passengers at the airport.
In the same month, on July 8 and 9, the Nepal-China Dragon Boat Race Festival will be held in Pokhara. Participants, including athletes and passengers, arrived in Pokhara by the same flight.
The aircraft will return to China today, heading back to Kathmandu
