Kathmandu : The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Board has made today’s price list of fruits and vegetables public.
According to the Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Board, the local round cucumber will be sold at the lowest price of NPR 9.60 per piece, making it the cheapest among all. The price of local bitter gourd per kilogram is NPR 750. Similarly, bottle gourd is priced at NPR 650 per kilogram, and green beans are priced at NPR 12.80 per kilogram. Large Nepali tomatoes, hybrid bitter gourd, and ridge gourd are priced at NPR 45 per kilogram, while Indian tomatoes, long beans, and pointed gourd are priced at NPR 55 per kilogram. Red potatoes are priced at NPR 43.50 per kilogram, while Indian red potatoes, radish, long sponge gourd, and long bitter gourd are priced at NPR 34.67 per kilogram. Local carrots are priced at NPR 115 per kilogram, and local cauliflower, pointed gourd, and okra are priced at NPR 85 per kilogram.
Local cabbage is priced at NPR 115 per kilogram, corn cob is priced at NPR 56.67 per kilogram, green peas are priced at NPR 190 per kilogram, local coriander leaves are priced at NPR 65 per kilogram, and spinach (rajma) leaves are priced at NPR 76.67 per kilogram. Fenugreek leaves are priced at NPR 86.67 per kilogram, broad beans are priced at NPR 110 per kilogram, bitter gourd is priced at NPR 65 per kilogram, and bottle gourd is priced at NPR 56.67 per kilogram.
Similarly, green apples are priced at NPR 32.50 per kilogram, turnips are priced at NPR 76.67 per kilogram, sugarcanes are priced at NPR 75 per piece, green onions are priced at NPR 96.67 per kilogram, snake gourd is priced at NPR 180 per kilogram, ridge gourd is priced at NPR 320 per kilogram, sponge gourd is priced at NPR 275 per kilogram, yam is priced at NPR 76.67 per kilogram, broccoli is priced at NPR 86.67 per kilogram, and beetroots are priced at NPR 76.67 per kilogram. Celery is priced at NPR 140 per kilogram, parsley is priced at NPR 235 per kilogram, and mint leaves are priced at NPR 135 per kilogram.
