Hetauda: The Bagmati Provincial Assembly is in session. The meeting is taking place at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat building in Hetauda. The meeting is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
According to information provided by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, discussions on the budget will begin today. As per the information, the provincial government will initiate discussions on the budget for the fiscal year 2080-081, which was presented on July 15 of the previous year.
According to Chief Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, Krishna Hari Khadka, the work schedule for budget discussions has been prepared by the Committee on Procedure and Management of the meeting held on Monday.
Previously, Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, Bahadur Singh Lama, had presented the budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the Provincial Assembly meeting held on July 1, which is now being discussed in today’s session.
