Kathmandu : The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Committee has made today’s price list public.
According to the publicized price list, prices are relatively cheaper compared to other vegetables, while bitter gourd is the most expensive. Today, tomatoes are priced at Rs. 7.60 per kilogram, while bitter gourd is priced at Rs. 650 per kilogram.
Similarly, Nepali cauliflower is priced at Rs. 45 per kilogram, tunnel cauliflower at Rs. 12.40 per kilogram, red potatoes at Rs. 44 per kilogram, Indian red potatoes, red radish, and long beans at a consistent rate of Rs. 35 per kilogram.
Mudheko red potatoes are priced at Rs. 38.60 per kilogram, white potatoes at Rs. 34.50 per kilogram, dried onions at Rs. 44.80 per kilogram, local carrots, flat beans, celery, and green garlic are available at Rs. 110 per kilogram.
Local cabbage, turnip greens, beetroot, round beans, and local beans are priced at Rs. 75 per kilogram, corn on the cob, taro leaves, and green pumpkin at Rs. 85 per kilogram, radish, wheat sprouts, sponge gourd, and watermelon at Rs. 95 per kilogram, bitter gourd at Rs. 66 per kilogram, ridge gourd at Rs. 62 per kilogram, ridge gourd and squash at Rs. 55 per kilogram.
Likewise, mustard greens are priced at Rs. 46.67 per kilogram, spinach at Rs. 144 per kilogram, leafy greens at Rs. 300 per kilogram, coriander at Rs. 225 per kilogram, and cauliflower and broccoli at Rs. 85 per kilogram
