Kathmandu: DB Baman has been appointed as the President and Jayant Regmi as an executive member of the Film Artists Association. The decision was announced by the executive committee of the association during their meeting held on Thursday, as informed by the Chairman Mohan Niroula.
This appointment has brought complete representation to the working committee of the Film Artists Association. Out of a total of 21 members in the committee, 17 were elected. Baman, who has gained popularity for his acting in the Nepali film “Dhuwan Yo Nasha,” is well-known for his portrayal of negative characters. He has also acted in movies like “Relimai,” “Hero Returns,” “Rumalai Chho Chhino,” “Chiring,” and “Phirkema.”
