Kathmandu : The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Committee has made today’s price list public.
According to the public price list, the minimum price per kilogram for local ginger is NPR 100, Indian onions are priced at NPR 44 per kilogram, local cauliflower is priced at NPR 100 per kilogram, green peas are priced at NPR 200 per kilogram, local cabbage is priced at NPR 40 per kilogram, red potatoes are priced at NPR 43 per kilogram, Nepali round tomatoes (large) are priced at NPR 50 per kilogram, tunnel-grown tomatoes (small) are priced at NPR 25 per kilogram, and bottle gourd is priced at NPR 70 per kilogram.
Similarly, broccoli is priced at NPR 240 per kilogram, broccoli is priced at NPR 60 per kilogram, bitter gourd is priced at NPR 150 per kilogram, mustard greens are priced at NPR 40 per kilogram, sponge gourd is priced at NPR 80 per kilogram, red pumpkin (bottle gourd variety) is priced at NPR 60 per kilogram, local cucumber is priced at NPR 70 per kilogram, ridge gourd is priced at NPR 250 per kilogram, and ginger is priced at NPR 280 per kilogram.
According to the committee, bananas are priced at NPR 140 per dozen, pomegranates are priced at NPR 380 per kilogram, avocado is priced at NPR 600 per kilogram, black grapes are priced at NPR 520 per kilogram, green chili peppers (Akabare) are priced at NPR 150 per kilogram, silver carp fish is priced at NPR 315 per kilogram, and fresh catfish (Mungri) is priced at NPR 320 per kilogram.
Similarly, Malda apples are priced at NPR 70 per kilogram, fresh coriander is priced at NPR 100 per kilogram, local lychee is priced at NPR 100 per kilogram, dried chili peppers are priced at NPR 450 per kilogram, garlic is priced at NPR 150 per kilogram, Chinese garlic is priced at NPR 210 per kilogram, and dry ginger is priced at NPR 120 per kilogram.
