Jerusalem : Israel has approved the deal to purchase the third squadron of F-35 fighter jets from the United States. Israel will spend $3 billion to acquire these aircraft.
With this purchase, the number of F-35 aircraft in the Israeli Air Force will increase to 75, manufactured by Lockheed Martin.
Officials have stated that the economic assistance received from the United States will be utilized in this agreement. Israel is the first country to receive F-35 jets from the United States.
The Ministry of Defense has indicated that the aircraft are being procured with American military aid.
