Kathmandu : Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has appealed to everyone to come together for the rescue and support of the flood and landslide victims.
Chairman Oli, through social media platform Facebook, mentioned the ongoing risk of floods and expressed the need for party leaders and workers to remain highly vigilant and engage in rescue efforts.
Referring to the widespread news of damage caused by heavy rainfall in various parts of the country, he urged everyone to exercise caution. He stated, “Due to heavy rainfall, the roads are being blocked, and travelers are being affected. In this regard, I request everyone to exercise high vigilance and adhere to traffic rules on the roads.”
Chairman Oli also informed the Disaster Management Department of the NCP about the adverse impact and potential situation of the weather and directed them to provide prior information to the general public and be prepared for rescue and support activities.
He emphasized the need for appropriate management by concerned authorities regarding the risks of floods and drew the attention of the government to the situation.
