Amidst the backdrop of prolonged violence for the past five days following the tragic death of a boy due to gunshots, Paris has organized the Fashion Week event.
Renowned musicians, actors, and supermodel fashion celebrities have gathered in Paris to celebrate fashion. American rapper Cardi B, singer Camila Cabello, and actress Maisie Williams are some of the prominent names associated with this fashion show. However, there is some unease surrounding the fashion show due to the serious unrest among the disgruntled citizens, as it is seen as a display of opulence for the wealthy. Some have raised their voices to cancel the catwalk show and cocktail parties. Nevertheless, despite these criticisms, Paris Fashion Week commenced on the scheduled date.
However, the impact of the violence seems to have diminished in recent times. Although a few brands like Chanel canceled their events, the main fashion label Celine postponed its shows completely, citing security concerns.
