Dhangadhi: A person’s death occurred due to a landslide in Darchula.
Shivaraj Giri, a 55-year-old resident of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-6, Hardigad, was killed in a landslide in the same area, as informed by the police. On Saturday evening, Giri was returning to his home in Chiu Rani from Banku when he was caught in the landslide, which occurred about 60 meters above the road.
The incident took place at the location itself.
Further investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Darchula District Police Office, as reported.
