Kathmandu: The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has made the price list public today.
According to the list, the minimum price of Nepali cauliflower per kilogram is NPR 90, Indian onions dried at NPR 54 per kilogram, local wheat flour at NPR 110, cucumber at NPR 200 per kilogram, local cabbage at NPR 60, red potatoes at NPR 45, Indian red potatoes at NPR 36, tunnel cauliflower small at NPR 35, bottle gourd at NPR 80 per kilogram.
Similarly, the price of green beans is NPR 350 per kilogram, local round beans at NPR 10, broccoli at NPR 90, bitter gourd at NPR 140, okra at NPR 90, yam at NPR 90, red round beans at NPR 60 per kilogram, local bitter gourd at NPR 80, sponge gourd at NPR 250, ridge gourd at NPR 280, as informed by the committee.
According to the committee, bananas are priced at NPR 150 per dozen, pomegranates at NPR 400, avocado at NPR 500, pears at NPR 80, kiwi at NPR 800, green chili peppers (Akabare) at NPR 250, freshwater fish (Rahu) at NPR 315, mackerel fish at NPR 240, fresh fish (Mungri) at NPR 320 per kilogram.
Similarly, Malda mangoes at NPR 90, coriander leaves at NPR 90, local lychee at NPR 140, dried chili peppers at NPR 450, garlic at NPR 190, Chinese garlic at NPR 240, green coriander at NPR 40, goat chili peppers at NPR 60 per kilogram, are being bought and sold at the mentioned prices, as informed by the committee.
