Second consecutive victory of the Army and APF

Kathmandu : The Tribhuvan Army Club and Armed Police Force (APF) Club of Nepal have registered their second consecutive victories in the 2080 Prime Minister Cup National Men’s and Women’s Volleyball League.

Today, the Army defeated the Dhaulagiri Milan Club with scores of 2-19, 25-11, and 25-20, securing their second consecutive victory. In the previous match, the Army had defeated the Sankhuwasabha Baglunga Club.

In another match today, the APF emerged victorious by defeating the Gandaki Province Volleyball Club with a score of 3-1. After losing the first set 21-25, the APF bounced back and won the remaining three sets with scores of 25-21, 25-23, and 25-17, securing the victory.

In another important match of the competition, Help Nepal Sports Club defeated Sailung Baghdundga Sports Club, Ramechhap, with a score of 3-0, earning three crucial points. With the help of three Pakistani players, Help Nepal defeated Sailung with scores of 25-12, 25-15, and 25-19.

In the women’s match of the ongoing Nepal Volleyball Association League, the APF defeated the Army in a 3-2 set match. The APF won the first and second sets with scores of 30-28 and 25-23, but the Army managed to win the third and fourth sets with scores of 25-20 and 25-19.

The Army won the crucial and deciding fifth set with a score of 15-6, securing the victory, while the APF had to settle for the second position. In another women’s match of the tournament, Hongwangjang New Diamond Youth Sports Club defeated Gandaki Province Volleyball Club with a 3-0 set victory. New Diamond won with scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-15.
