Kathmandu : The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Board has made today’s price list public.
According to the board’s price list, the average prices of fruits and vegetables in the market today range from Rs. 13 to Rs. 850 per kilogram. Among them, local cucumber is being sold at the cheapest price of Rs. 13 per kilogram, while kiwi is being traded at Rs. 850 per kilogram.
Similarly, Nepali cauliflower, bitter gourd, pointed gourd, and okra are being sold at Rs. 95 per kilogram, small-sized cauliflower at Rs. 25 per kilogram, small turnip at Rs. 40 per kilogram, red potato at Rs. 47 per kilogram, and Indian red potato at Rs. 35 per kilogram.
Likewise, round potato is priced at Rs. 39 per kilogram, white potato at Rs. 34.50 per kilogram, peeled onion (Indian) at Rs. 53.25 per kilogram, local carrot at Rs. 96 per kilogram, local cabbage and radish at Rs. 75 per kilogram, local cabbage (Jyapu) at Rs. 86.67 per kilogram, white radish at Rs. 17.50 per kilogram, long beans, bottle gourd, and spinach at Rs. 85 per kilogram, and pointed gourd and pumpkin at Rs. 110 per kilogram.
