Kathmandu : The film ‘Bagan’, which has received accolades at the premiere, has been released on Friday. This film has received more than 100 showings in over 80 areas across the country. Renowned actor Saroj Khanal, known for his acting skills, has directed the film for the first time. The film features Karishma Manandhar, Aakash Shrestha, Pramila Karki, Neer Shah, Basundhara Bhusal, and Mithila Sharma, among others. Director Khanal also plays a significant role in this film. Actress Karki makes her acting debut with this film. The premiere of ‘Bagan’ on Wednesday received emotional reactions from the majority of the viewers, who were moved by its scenes and dialogues. The film not only entertains but also showcases the journey of change in Nepali society.
The film had previously announced that it would provide free screenings to single mothers throughout the country. For this purpose, the film will introduce a biographical introduction of a single mother, which has been released by the government. Based on the story by Swapnil Niraula, this film has been made as a presentation of Nepali Website Dotcom. Suresh Wagley is the producer of ‘Bagan’, while Vinod Manandhar is the executive producer. Gaurishankar Dhuju is the director of photography, Utsav Dahal and Narayan Jisi are the editors, Samir Miya is the VFX artist, and Renish Fago is responsible for color correction.
The background score is composed by Sujil Karmacharya, and sound mixing is done by Mukesh Shah. The music for the film, composed by Hari Lamsal and Suvas Bhusal, features vocals by Anju Pant, Sugam Pokharel, and Asmita Adhikari.
