Kathmandu: In the upcoming film “The Sweater of Wool,” Vipin Karki and Miruna Magar are cast in the lead roles, directed by Artmandu. Director Navin Chauhan has provided information that Miruna has been assigned the role of the protagonist. Vipin has previously been associated with the project.
In an announcement ceremony scheduled for the upcoming Saturday, the director Chauhan will reveal information about the rest of the cast and crew of the film. This will be Vipin and Miruna’s second collaboration after “Lalpurja.” The film is based on a social and love story and has been adapted from the play “Chor Ko Swar” that was staged some time ago. Chauhan, who has directed more than a dozen music videos, will make his directorial debut with the narrative film “The Sweater of Wool.” The film, starting from the month of Mangsir, will be shot in Panchthar and Ilam, and will feature artists like Anil Subba, Suraj Tamu, and Lakshmi Yonghang. The cinematography for this film will be done by Chintaraj Bhandari, who gained popularity with his short film “Dadya.”
Actor Karki mentioned that the film carries a message of unity in society. Currently, Vipin is focusing on his health at home. After his recovery, he is likely to be actively engaged in the film, possibly joining the project after a grand celebration and a film shooting.
