Kathmandu : The meeting of the Sudurpashchim Provincial Assembly has been postponed until 3 o’clock. The meeting, which was scheduled for 8 o’clock this morning, was postponed as consensus could not be reached among the ruling parties on the budget-related issues, according to spokesperson Narendra Bahadur Pal.
The coalition partners, except for the Congress, namely the Maoist Centre, Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist), and the Civil Liberation Party, are dissatisfied with the budget brought by the provincial government for the fiscal year 2080/081.
Efforts are being made to reach an agreement by engaging in discussions with the dissatisfied ruling parties.
