kathmandu : The FIFA Women’s World Cup Football 2023 starts from today in Kathmandu, Nepal. The world’s highest football governing body, FIFA, has announced that the complete preparations for the tournament, which will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand, have been done.
The opening match will be held at Eden Park in New Zealand, where New Zealand and Norway will compete in Group A. The match is scheduled to start at 5 PM local time.
Similarly, in Group B, another host nation, Australia, will face the Republic of Ireland in their opening match, which will take place at 8 PM Nepali time in the Australian Stadium.
A total of 32 teams are participating in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the competition will run until August 20.
