Kathmandu : The schedule of the upcoming Asia Cup Cricket tournament has been made public, which will take place from Bhadra 13 to Bhadra 31 (August 30 to September 17).
As per the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) publicized fixture, Nepal will face Pakistan in the opening match, which will be held in Multan Cricket Stadium on Bhadra 13.
This edition of the Asia Cup will be a One-Day International (ODI) cricket competition held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Among the 13 matches in the tournament, four matches will be played in Pakistan, while the remaining nine will be held in Sri Lanka.
Nepal is placed in Group A of the Asia Cup, alongside India and Pakistan. In Group B, there are Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
The winners and runners-up of each group will advance to the Super Four stage. Afterward, the top two teams will compete in the final match.
