Kathmandu : The date for the finale of the 71st Miss World 2023 pageant, to be held in India, has been announced. According to the Nepali calendar, the prestigious competition, considered one of the most significant beauty pageants in the world, will take place on the 23rd of Mangsir (December 9).
Miss Nepal World 2022, Priyanka Karki, is leaving for Mumbai a month before the finale. She is well-prepared and aims to win one of the top five “Fast Track” awards in the Miss World competition. To achieve this, Priyanka has been preparing diligently for the Beauty with a Purpose, Multimedia Award, Model Beach Beauty, World Designer, and Sports events.
The announcement of the finale date was made recently, and Priyanka has expressed her excitement and determination on social media, saying, “The date for Miss World 2023 is confirmed. I can’t keep calm.” Her Instagram story indicates her focused and enthusiastic approach towards preparing for the finale. There are high hopes for Priyanka to bring home the Beauty with a Purpose title. Nepal has been a strong contender in this category for several years.
Being able to reach the top 15 to 20 contestants in the “Fast Track” events means there is a good chance for Priyanka to progress to the final stages.
For the first time, the finale will be held in India, a country that shares a border with Nepal. Around 80 countries’ beauties will compete in the grand event, and being in a neighboring country has made preparations easier for Nepal. The Hidden Treasures team, along with the Jumbo delegation, is preparing to travel to India for the final ceremony.
