Pokhara : From today onwards, parking has been prohibited on the roads in the Pokhara Bus Park area. Pokhara Metropolitan City has enforced a no-parking rule on the roads from Prithvi Chowk to Seti Bridge (Chinapul).
According to Amrit Timilsina, the Ward Chairperson of Pokhara-16, the decision to remove parking from the roads in the Seti area was made in a meeting of the District Security Committee on Friday. As a result, parking has been banned from today onwards.
Since the morning, representatives from the metropolitan city, traffic police, and others have been deployed in the bus park area to enforce the no-parking rule.
The integration of the bus park and the main road has caused problems with parking for small and large vehicles, as stated by the authorities of the metropolitan city.
According to the Vice Chairperson of the Traffic Management Committee of the metropolitan city, Pokhara-16, including other officials, arrangements have been made to accommodate at least 150 vehicles for parking inside the bus park area.
