Jakarta : In Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, a boat capsized, resulting in the death of at least 15 people, and 19 others are reported missing. Six passengers have been rescued and are currently receiving treatment at local hospitals.
According to information provided by the National Search and Rescue Agency, there were a total of 40 passengers on the boat. The incident occurred around midnight when the boat sank, but the exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
The National Search and Rescue Agency is conducting a search for the missing passengers. Muhammad Arafat, a local branch officer of the agency, stated, “All the victims have been identified, and the bodies have been transferred to their families. The survivors are currently receiving treatment at local hospitals.”

The boat was headed to Muna Island, which is approximately 200 kilometers south of the capital city in Southeast Sulawesi province when the accident occurred.
