In Southern California, Los Angeles, a blind creature has been discovered with 486 legs. This organism is as thin as a pencil and as long as a paperclip. It appears transparent like jellyfish and resides within four inches of the ground. It was found near a starbucks café, which had noticed its antenna-like structures being used for its movements. When scientists examined it under a microscope, they were amazed by the unique physical properties of this extraordinary organism. The creature was given the name “Sokail” for this specific area.
Biologist Paul Marek from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University described the sight of these creatures crawling on faults, mountains, or rocks, or even burrowing within the soil in Los Angeles as a remarkable phenomenon.
Researchers from both the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and the University of California were involved in this discovery. Their research paper has been published in the Journal “Jukiij.”
