Kathmandu : On Friday, the last trading day of the current week, the price of gold decreased by 900 rupees per tola. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the previous day, i.e., Thursday, the price of gold had reached 800 rupees per tola, setting a record. However, on Friday, the price decreased to 900 rupees per tola.
The hallmark gold, which was trading at 1,13,500 rupees per tola the previous day, dropped to 1,12,600 rupees per tola on Friday.
Likewise, the Tejabi gold also decreased by 900 rupees, settling at 1,12,500 rupees per tola, as informed by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Business Association.
Similarly, the price of silver also dropped by 40 rupees per tola on Friday. The trading price for silver on Friday was 1,450 rupees per tola, whereas the previous day, it was 1,490 rupees per tola.
