Today’s weather: normal change in weather conditions is expected throughout the country today

Kathmandu : Currently, in Nepal, along with the monsoonal wind, there is a partial effect of the low-pressure system around India’s Odisha and Andhra Pradesh regions. The sub-tropical ridge associated with the monsoon lies south of the Saradar location.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the partial to normal change in weather conditions is expected throughout the country today. Light to moderate rainfall is likely in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

During the day, there will be partial to normal changes in weather conditions across the country. The possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely in some places of Gandaki province, as well as in some hilly areas and a few places in the Tarai region. In Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, there is a chance of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Due to this, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has requested people to remain cautious and take necessary precautions to protect themselves from possible floods, landslides, landslips, and soil erosion.
