Kathmandu : The death toll from the bomb explosion in Pakistan has reached 44, with a hundred people injured.
The explosion occurred in Bajaur District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in northwest Pakistan on Sunday. Health Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Riwaj Anwar, informed the news agency about the casualties, stating that 44 people lost their lives and 100 others were injured in the blast.
The incident is being investigated as a suicide attack, and the authorities are conducting further inquiries.
As of now, the involvement of any specific group has not been disclosed. Bajaur District is situated on the border with Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, has condemned the attack.
