Car accident occurred in Shravasti, India, six Nepali died

kathmandu  : In a road accident that occurred in Shravasti district, India, six people from two families in Nepalgunj lost their lives. The incident happened when a car with registration number UP47DB1217, coming from Balrampur, India, collided with a gas tanker on a road near Ikona of Shravasti district.

The deceased in the accident are 35-year-old Baibhav Gupta, his 32-year-old wife Deepika Gupta, their three-year-old son Dallu Gupta, six-month-old daughter Shriya Gupta, and two sons of Santosh Gupta, the manager of S Kumar Watch Company in Nepalgunj, 22-year-old Nillansh Gupta, and 20-year-old daughter Sunitee Gupta.

The driver of the ill-fated vehicle, Ajay Mishra, who sustained serious injuries, is undergoing treatment. On Saturday morning, Santosh Gupta informed that he came to know about the accident while returning from Balrampur to take his wife Deepika back home.

The news of the accident has left the Triyuga Chok area of Nepalgunj in mourning. Since the news of the death spread last night, people have been sleepless. Local resident Dipananda Gupta, a relative of the Guptas, shared the situation at the Gupta’s house.

A classmate of Sunitee, Aakriti Rana, who is studying in the third semester of BBS at the local Brightland College, informed that the news of Sunitee’s death has left the college students deeply saddened.

The district police office in Banke is making necessary preparations to bring the body of the deceased to Nepal after conducting the post-mortem in Bhairahawa, India. Deputy Superintendent of Police Rathaur provided this information.
