Chitwan : The National Independent Party (Rasopa) has brought back the ambulance with number Na 2 Kha 5619 to Chitwan, stating that it will be used to provide health care services to elderly people aged 65 and above. The party had previously announced the operation of the “Mobile Clinic” from this ambulance since August 17.
However, after the controversy arose over the unauthorized color change and the inscription “Ambulance” being altered to “Mobile Clinic,” the National Independent Party Bagmati Health and Population Department Chief Dr. Manohar Pradhan returned the ambulance to the old Medical College. Now, Rasopa is preparing to operate the ambulance under another banner as per the arrangement of the Mobile Clinic.
The Indian Embassy had provided the said ambulance, which was 11 years old at the time. The old Medical College had been using the ambulance for a long time and had renovated it before handing it over to the Mobile Clinic on July 14. The old Medical College had also made arrangements for medical personnel for the Mobile Clinic. Before the color change by Rasopa, the ambulance was white in color.
In an effort to blend the color of the flag with that of Rasopal, the ambulance was given a blue color and renamed as the “Mobile Clinic.” The decision to change the color of the ambulance to its original white color was made by the Traffic Office in Bharatpur.
