Kathmandu : The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has made today’s price list public.
According to the committee, Nepali cauliflower large is priced at Rs 150 per kg, tunnel cauliflower small at Rs 95, local cabbage at Rs 30, local broccoli at Rs 60, red potatoes at Rs 50, red mud potatoes at Rs 40, Indian potatoes at Rs 35, Indian onions dried at Rs 50, bottle gourd at Rs 40, green beans at Rs 70, pointed gourd at Rs 20 per dozen, and they are available for sale.
Similarly, pointed gourd (dalle chyau) is priced at Rs 300 per kg, carrots at Rs 100, local okra at Rs 15, red radish at Rs 40, round eggplant at Rs 50, sweet corn at Rs 60, pointed gourd (tate simi) at Rs 70, bitter gourd at Rs 30, broccoli at Rs 90, cauliflower at Rs 130 per kg, ladyfinger at Rs 35, bottle gourd at Rs 60, sponge gourd at Rs 70, red round eggplant at Rs 60, local sponge gourd at Rs 40, tomatoes at Rs 90, ash gourd at Rs 250, and these prices have been announced by the committee.
According to the committee, courgette (kurilo) is priced at Rs 350, bananas per dozen at Rs 140, pomegranate at Rs 300, pears at Rs 80, avocado at Rs 500, black grapes at Rs 450, kiwi at Rs 700, green chili (akbare) at Rs 250, rohu fish at Rs 305, catla fish at Rs 230, fresh fish (mungari) at Rs 280 per kg, and these are available for purchase and sale.
Similarly, Malda apples at Rs 180, lapsi at Rs 70, fresh coriander at Rs 150, green garlic at Rs 100, dried chili at Rs 450, Nepali garlic at Rs 210, Chinese garlic at Rs 260, ridge gourd at Rs 30, dried spinach at Rs 220, and sheep chili at Rs 70 are available for sale at the prices listed.
