Kathmandu : The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the Nepali team for the Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. On Friday, under the captaincy of Rubina Chhetri, CAN declared a 14-member Nepali squad. The team includes Rubina Chhetri, Sita Rana Magar, Indu Barma, Bindu Rawal, Kavita Kunwar, Kavita Joshi, Puja Mahato, Samjhana Khadka, Ishwari Visht, Kajol Shrestha, Ruvina Paudel, Apsari Begam, Asmina Karmacharya, and Khushi Dangol.
The Asia Qualifier for the World Cup is scheduled to take place in Malaysia from August 28 to September 6. Twelve countries will participate in the Asia Qualifier, including Nepal in Group A. In Group A, Nepal is alongside Bahrain, Bhutan, Malaysia, Qatar, and UAE.
Similarly, Group B consists of China, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Myanmar, and Thailand.
