Kathmandu: Nepali movie ‘Bagan’ is being screened at 5 theaters on Friday. As the showtimes increase, the audience for this movie is also growing. Due to the success of ‘Word of Mouth’, the audience is coming to watch ‘Bagan’ with their families.
The audience has praised the role of newcomer actress Pramila Karki, who plays a mother in the movie, along with the charm of Christmas. Almost all viewers are expressing gratitude, saying that they are able to relate to these two characters.
After the success in Nepal, the movie will be shown in various cities of the United States. The songwriter and producer Suresh Wagle provided information that the international exhibition will start from August. “We are starting international screenings. We are going to various cities in the United States. We are going to Boston on August 18 and 19 for a special screening at the Regent Theatre. After that, we are preparing for screenings in New York, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Los Angeles, California, Harrisburg, Colorado, and Atlanta,” said Wagle.
“People in Nepal had asked when the movie will be shown abroad after its release here. Now we are taking ‘Bagan’ to the United States ourselves,” he added. The director of the movie, Saroj Khanal, and actress Pramila Karki will also participate in the screenings.
The movie ‘Bagan’, based on the story by Swapnil Neerav, is presented on the Dot Com website. The producer and songwriter of ‘Bagan’ are Suresh Wagle, while Vinod Manandhar is the executive producer.
Gaurishankar Dhuju’s Director of Photography (DOP), Utsav Dahal, and Narayan Jisi’s cinematography, Sandesh Shah’s editing, Samir Miyan’s BFX and Renish Phago’s color correction are included in the film.
The movie has a background score by Sujil Karmacharya and sound mixing by Mukesh Shah. Hari Lamsal and Suvas Bhusal have provided music for the songs in the movie, which feature the voices of Anju Panta, Sugam Pokharel, and Asmita Adhikari. Rich Entertainment and Disianal have distributed the movie in Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding areas, while the FD Company has distributed it in the districts outside the valley.
