According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, the country is currently experiencing slight to moderate changes in weather from sporadic to widespread light to moderate rainfall in some places of Lumbini Province and a few places of other provinces.

During the day, there will be partial changes in weather across the country. Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province, as well as a few places of Koshi and Madhes Provinces, may experience light to moderate rainfall. In some places of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, there is a chance of heavy rainfall, along with thunderstorms.

This is due to the increasing water level of the rivers, potential floods, landslides, soil erosion, and risks caused by the rise of river water levels, which could pose threats to public health, agriculture, daily life, roads, and air travel. The Meteorological Department has requested the public to exercise caution, be aware of potential dangers, and take necessary precautions to avoid harm or damage.
