Kathmandu: Two more individuals have been arrested on charges of producing fake educational qualification certificates to become doctors. They have been apprehended by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police.
According to the spokesperson of the CIB and the Deputy Superintendent of Police Navaraj Adhikari, Chaudhary was arrested this morning from Morang, while Shilpakar, a working nurse at Ishan Hospital in Kathmandu, was arrested last night. The CIB has been conducting operations against the production of fake educational certificates. On Thursday as well, the bureau had arrested five individuals.
Similarly, three individuals who were sending money abroad for foreign employment and cheating people were arrested by a police team from the Metropolitan Crime Division, Teku. Aryal, who was arrested, was planning to send money to Croatia for foreign employment from Saroj Giri, saying that he would send Rs 50,000. Chaudhary, on the other hand, was planning to send money to France from Rupak Budhathoki, saying that he would send Rs 2,55,000. Magar was planning to send money to Portugal from Jang Gurung, saying that he would send Rs 2,56,000, without any contact.
All three of them have been arrested from various places in Kathmandu. All three individuals arrested have been sent to the Tahachal-based Department of Foreign Employment for further investigation and action.
