In the final match of the League’s Cup held on Sunday morning, Inter Miami emerged as champions by defeating Nashville SC in a penalty shootout.
At the Goodyear Park in Tennessee, Inter Miami defeated Nashville SC 10-9 in a penalty shootout.
After the stipulated 90-minute game ended in a draw, the match went directly to a penalty shootout.
Captain Messi gave Inter Miami an early lead with a brilliant goal in the 23rd minute. However, Fabrice Picault equalized the game for Nashville SC in the 57th minute.
In the penalty shootout, both teams scored 11 goals from the penalty spot.

With a total of 10 goals, Messi became the top goal scorer and player of the tournament with the most goals.
