Athens : Due to the ongoing landslide in the northern wilderness area of Greece, the bodies of 18 individuals who have lost their lives in the past four days have been discovered. The Greek rescue service working in the affected area has located the bodies of 18 individuals affected by the landslide.

Initial reports suggest that the victims of the casualties may have been migrants. The Ebro region of northeastern Greece, located near the border with Turkey, has been heavily devastated by the wildfire.

The Alexanderpolis city’s hospital has been evacuated due to the landslide. This is because there are newborn infants requiring treatment and seriously ill patients in need of intensive care.

The large forest located to the north of Alexandroupolis caught fire and rapidly spread on Monday. Emergency services have sent out mobile messages urging people to evacuate residential areas.

On Tuesday, temperatures in many parts of this region rose above 40 degrees Celsius, and due to strong winds, various parts of Greece are experiencing rapid spreading of wildfires.
