The Nepali national cricket team is leaving for Pakistan to participate in the Asia Cup

Kathmandu : The Nepali national cricket team has departed for Pakistan to participate in the Asia Cup. The team will be taking part in the Asia Cup held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from Bhadra 13 onwards. The team left for Pakistan via a flight at 1 PM.

The Nepal Cricket Association bid farewell to the team. Former captain Paras Khadka stated that he won’t be going to Pakistan. Nepal is in Group A for the first edition of the Asia Cup. Nepal is in the same group as India and Pakistan. Similarly, Group B includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Nepal will play its first match against Pakistan and the second match against Sri Lanka.

The first match between Nepal and Pakistan is scheduled for Bhadra 14. Similarly, Nepal will play its second match against India. The match between Nepal and India will take place in Sri Lanka. The match is set for Bhadra 18.

In the farewell program, the head coach of the Nepali national cricket team, Monty Desai, expressed his positive views about the competition and expressed confidence that the team will achieve success in the tournament. Likewise, the captain of the Nepali national cricket team, Rohit Kumar Paudel, mentioned that the team is well-prepared mentally to give excellent performances against India and Pakistan. He expressed confidence that the matches against India and Pakistan will be highly competitive and that the team is ready to deliver outstanding performances.
