Kathmandu : The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Board has today made the price list public.
According to the information, Nepali tomato is priced at NPR 100 per unit, Indian large tomato at NPR 130, tunnel tomato small at NPR 63, local small tomato at NPR 50, green beans local at NPR 60, bitter gourd local at NPR 80, local potato at NPR 50, red potato at NPR 48, Indian potato red at NPR 35, sponge gourd at NPR 70, green squash at NPR 90, snake gourd at NPR 50, and after reaching a price of NPR 77, it’s in operation.
Similarly, bitter gourd at NPR 350, local okra at NPR 50, carrot at NPR 80, white radish at NPR 90, red radish at NPR 70, long radish at NPR 60, maize at NPR 80, hybrid maize at NPR 70, ridge gourd at NPR 70, bitter buckwheat at NPR 70, broccoli at NPR 140, knol-khol at NPR 130, ladyfinger at NPR 55, ginger at NPR 140, local tomato at NPR 70, avocado at NPR 260, according to the committee.
As per the committee, kurilo is priced at NPR 450, bananas per dozen at NPR 140, pomegranate at NPR 280, pear at NPR 70, avocado at NPR 350, black grapes at NPR 400, kiwi at NPR 700, green chili (Akbar) at NPR 250, and Rahu fish at NPR 305, catfish at NPR 230, fresh fish (mungari) at NPR 280, with an ongoing transaction.
Similarly, Lapsi at NPR 50, green coriander at NPR 150, dried chili at NPR 450, Nepali dried garlic at NPR 230, Chinese dried garlic at NPR 240, green garlic at NPR 220, leaf mustard at NPR 40, dried taro at NPR 200, goat chili at NPR 70, Sharifa at NPR 250, Fuji apple at NPR 350, mango at NPR 150, junar at NPR 320, tofu at NPR 110, pineapple at NPR 60, Tamu at NPR 100, kanyou at NPR 180, and fresh fig at NPR 80 per unit is in operation.”
