Doha : The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is organizing a grand cultural event called ‘Gorkha Evening’ in Dubai. The event aims to provide entertainment to Nepali fathers, brothers, and sisters living in the UAE, as well as promote Nepali art, culture, and tourism development. According to Assistant Vice President and Program Coordinator of AARN UAE, Bhim Mall Thakuri, the event will take place from October 8 at 2:00 PM to Dhuusu 2, at Metro Park near Al Karama Metro Station in Dubai.
Renowned artists like Pal Shah, Rubina Adhikari, Kulendra Bik, Suresh Lama, Suprim Mall, and others will participate in the program. The program is supported by various organizations and associations, including the Non-Resident Nepali Association UAE. Dr. Bu Abdullah, a local entrepreneur, has been designated as the chief guest of the program.
Thakuri mentioned that after a long interval, the program aims to help alleviate the pain and suffering of Nepali migrant workers and appealed to them to participate in Gorkha Evening 2023 while ensuring their safety.
