Kathmandu : Bukayo Saka has been announced as England’s Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
The 22-year-old Arsenal winger, who has been with the club for over 22 years, has once again won the award for the 2021-22 season based on fan votes.
Midfielder Jude Bellingham came in second, and Harry Kane finished third in the voting.
Saka has scored 7 goals in 10 games for England. He recorded his first career hat-trick in a 7-0 victory against North Macedonia at Old Trafford.
In the FIFA World Cup held in Qatar last December, Saka scored 3 goals for England.
Based on his performance for Arsenal last season, Saka also won the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
Under the Euro 2024 qualifiers, Saka is included in the English team for games against Ukraine and Scotland.
